AN expert police unit has helped bust an illegal enterprise and recover three stolen vehicles.
Essex Police's Stolen Vehicle Intelligence Unit worked with Thurrock officers to shut down a stolen car shop on Friday, otherwise known as a 'chop shop'.
During the raid three cars were discovered with false registration plates, as well as the remains of other vehicles.
A crime scene investigator team is now examining the stolen cars and they will be returned to the rightful owners once the investigation is complete.
We deployed to support + assist at this Chop Shop with @EPThurrock on Friday.
