THREE people have been arrested on suspicion of assault after a “disturbance” in Hadleigh.
Essex Police were called to Westwood Close, in Hadleigh, at around 10:35am on Friday.
Residents took to social media after spotting a “large police presence” in the area.
Officers say there was a disturbance where three suspects were arrested on suspicion of assault.
A spokesman for Essex Police added: “We were called to reports of a disturbance in Westwood Close in Hadleigh at about 10.35am on Friday, March 15.
“At the scene three suspects were arrested on suspicion of assault.
“One man has been released on bail and the two other suspects, a man, and a woman, remain in custody.
“Our investigation is ongoing, and our enquiries are continuing.”
None of the injuries sustained are believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
