POLICE say an incident that left an elderly woman unconscious in Wrexham was "accidental".
North Wales Police had launched an investigation after an elderly woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being found in the Meadow Lea area of Caia Park.
Following an appeal for witnesses, police have since confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances.
A spokesperson said: "CCTV footage obtained from the area shows the injury was accidental.
"The female continues to receive treatment for her injuries."
