Atomic Kitten have been confirmed for the line-up for a three-day music and family festival returning this summer.

Essex Fest will take place at Harrow Lodge Park, Hornchurch, from July 12 to 14 with acts including Atomic Kitten, Gareth Gates and East 17 in the lineup.

The event will be broken into three parts - Essex Pop Fest on July 12, Essex Tribute Fest on July 13 and Essex Family Fest for the finale.

This year aims to take music lovers back to the noughties and raise money and awareness of mental health, says Havering Mind event manager Ciaran White.

As well as Atomic Kitten, Gareth Gates and East 17, Essex Pop Fest will also feature live performances from Big Brovaz and Booty Luv and supporting acts and DJs playing top hits from the decade.

For families and children, Essex Family Fest on the last day will bring a range of family-themed shows and child-friendly attractions like dinosaurs, animals, a fun fair, a kids zone and more.

A general release ticket for Essex Pop and Tribute festival costs £27.82 each, while a child ticket for three to 17-year-olds is priced at £6.

There is also a VIP ticket for these days for £55.25 that gives buyers front of the stage access, a free drink and fast track entrance among other frills.

General adult tickets for the Family Fest are being sold for £10.48 each, while the child ticket that day will cost £5.24 each.

All the money raised will go to Mind in Havering, Barking and Dagenham.
