Congratulations, Southend, for what must be the worst bus service in the country, with buses not turning up and rude drivers.
I live in Southchurch, a lovely village, but not for buses. We are not a war zone or a plague zone, so why ignore us?
The other day we waited half an hour for a No 1 bus to Southend, then three of these and the No 4 turned up. The first bus stopped, the other three went sailing by, leaving people still waiting.
As for Sundays, forget it.
One bus an hour, the last bus at 6pm from Southend.
Curfew time, I expect.
Don’t blame the weather, it’s the same in the summer.
By the way, are No 1s breeding in Shoebury, as they always seem to turn up in threes?
If you can’t keep to a regular timetable, alter it or hand it over to Stephensons. At least their buses run to time.
