My wife and I were very sorry to read that Mr Chulani Perera will not be able to continue with his excellent restaurant, the Rose Garden, in Hockley.
We have visited the restaurant on many occasions and have always been extremley satisfied with the food and service and the warm welcome from Chulani and his staff.
We celebrated our golden wedding anniversay there with friends and family and had an evening to remember.
His curry nights are so popular you have to book a month in advance.
We wish Mr Perera all the best in his search for suitable premises, and hope they will be in the vicinity of Hockley so we are able to continue to enjoy his hospitality.
