A FORMER nurse has been fined for using threatening behaviour towards police officers in Leigh Broadway, after she lost her job.
Police were called after Jane King, 28, was seen walking in and out of traffic in the Broadway at 8.40am on Sunday.
Officers found her at a bus stop drinking a bottle of blue WKD and with a partially drunk bottle of wine at her feet.
King, of Connaught Gardens, Shoebury, gave her name to police, but she refused to give her age or address.
Shortly after, she began swearing at them.
King was put in police cells on Sunday and appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
She was given a £60 fine, which she was deemed to have paid off because of her time in the cells.
King was also ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge.
