A BUNGALOW caught alight from a burning shed in Eastwood last (Monday) night.
Firefighters from Leigh station were called to the fire in Eastwood Old Road about 11.40pm and spent two hours at the scene.
Firefighter Dan Hawkins said the fire was started by barbecue coles on a compost heap which set the shed alight.
The shed was totally destroyed and the bungalow, which was in Hickling Close, suffered external damage.
