A FIRE broke out at a Kentucky Fried Chicken takeaway in Prittlewell this (Tuesday) morning.
Crews from Southend and Leigh stations were called at 11am after an oil burner being used to cook chicken overheated and caught light.
The blaze was put out by 11.25am.
