A DOG who was feared dead after he went missing down a fox hole has turned up safe and well.
Firefighters launched a search for the Jack Russell on Saturday morning using specialist listening equipment and a snake eye camera near to where he went missing in North Crescent, Prittlewell.
They were forced to give up the search after an hour but on Sunday morning the dog arrived home and was found waiting outside the home of his elderly owners by the paper girl.
