AN ELDERLY man was taken to hospital after his car flipped onto its roof.
The 63-year-old man was taken ill at the wheel of a silver Kia Sedona before it crashed in Southchurch Avenue, Southend.
The car collided with the kerb and overturned at about 10am today.
He was taken to Southend Hospital by ambulance.
