Fiona Bruce - stalked
A stalker who harassed BBC newsreader Fiona Bruce by sending her love messages has been detained in Basildon Hospital under mental health laws.
Basildon Crown Court heard Peter Oakey, 51, of Burses Way, Hutton, suffered from persistent delusional disorder.
Judge John Lodge said he was satisfied that the "nature and degree" of Oakey's illness made compulsory hospital treatment appropriate.
