A MAN has died after falling ill on a bus yesterday.
The man, in his 70's, collapsed as the number 7 Arriva bus service to Shoebury travelled along Southchurch Road, Southend at 4.15 on Wednesday.
People travelling on the bus are understood to have had to climb out of the vehicle's emergency exit as ambulance crews arrived at the scene within five minutes.
