BIG lads and lasses in Southend are to get their own night club event where they will be free to let their hair down without attracting cruel comments.
Voluptuous people who tip the scales at slightly more than the average weight may feel embarrassed in regular nightclubs but the Big Girls Paradise event to be held at the Kursaal on Saturday, September 24 will give them a chance to enjoy a night out without having to deal with the stigma which often accompanies being a plus size.
