THE MATCH: Concord Rangers make the long trip to Truro bidding to maintain their impressive league form and move past their midweek cup defeat.

The Beach Boys’ 1-0 reverse to East Thurrock in the Essex Senior Cup was their first loss since the end of November, while they are unbeaten in 13 league games.

But challenges don’t come much tougher than at Truro, who are fifth in the league and have lost just once at home since August 19.

THE INSIGHT: “Tomorrow will be a very difficult fixture not just because of the logistics but more so because Truro are a good side,” said boss Adam Flanagan. “Lee Hodges has assembled a strong squad and they have been in the top five for most of the season.

“They are very strong at the back and in Cody Cooke and Tyler Harvey have a real threat in the forward areas.

“We will make some changes to the team that featured on Tuesday night as we are carrying a lot of injuries at the moment so we have to utilise the squad.

“Unfortunately we will have to travel down (to Cornwall) on the day but this is something Truro have to do every week. We cannot allow the journey to be the reason for us not delivering a professional performance.”

THE TEAM NEWS: Rob Girdlestone will be hoping for a recall, as will Billy Roast, who was rested against East Thurrock.
