Weston-super-Mare 1-0 Concord Rangers
(Cane 16’)
From the Woodspring Stadium
National League South
A FIRST half goal was enough to condemn Concord Rangers to consecutive defeats on the road – Weston-super-Mare claiming a 1-0 win.
The Beach Boys had lost their last outing in Somerset a fortnight ago and they didn’t make the best start at top seven hopefuls Weston.
Following a failed clearance Weston built again and captain Jacob Cane finished off a neat move by striking beyond Louis Wells.
Concord were slowly growing into the clash but they weren’t truly threatening the Weston back-line.
And they were unable to get the goal that would have got them a point, with the final result 1-0.
Concord Rangers: Wells, Smith, Brown, Farrell, Roast, Knight, Da Costa, Nasha, Greenhalgh, Cawley, Freeman
