Hullbridge Sports will attempt to consolidate their position at the summit of the Essex Senior League with victory at lowly Stanway Rovers.
Rovers are third from bottom and have nine points so far, 21 fewer than top dogs Hullbridge.
Sports returned to the top with a win in midweek against Clapton and Darren Manning wants more of the same against Stanway.
He said: “We got our spark back on Tuesday and we want to carry on our relentless run with another win.”
Southend Manor were beaten again in midweek and head to high-flying Walthamstow bereft of confidence.
Manor lost 2-1 at home against Woodford Town, meaning they have won just one of the last eight matches in all competitions.
