SOUTH Essex’s sides have discovered who they will face in the fourth round of the Essex Senior Cup.

Having won their first tie in the competition since the 2012/13 season, Southend United have been handed another away clash at Waltham Abbey.

After overcoming National League South rivals Concord Rangers, Essex Senior Cup holders Billericay Town face a trip to Saffron Walden Town.

Great Wakering Rovers - who eliminated Aveley after coming out on top in a seven-goal thriller at Burroughs Park - will also be on the road as they have been drawn away to AFC Hornchurch.

Isthmian North leaders Bowers & Pitsea saw off the threat of Brightlingsea Regent on Tuesday night to book their place in the fourth round, and their reward is a home tie against divisional rivals Romford.

Southend Manor, who have been in fine form in cup competitions so far this term, will be looking to pull off another upset when they welcome National League South strugglers East Thurrock United.

Hullbridge Sports got the better of Witham Town in the third round and they will be welcoming another Isthmian North side to the Ryan's Heating Stadium as they have been drawn to take on Coggeshall Town.

Other ties see Brentwood Town take on Maldon & Tiptree and Braintree Town travel to Chelmsford City.

The ties must be played on or before December 8.
