DARREN Manning has admitted Hullbridge Sports are ready for ‘a huge game’ this weekend.
Sports, who are currently top of the Essex Senior League, welcome fifth-placed Sporting Bengal United to the Ryan’s Heating Stadium tomorrow.
Hullbridge moved back to the division’s summit thanks to their victory over St Margaretsbury last week.
But, since then, Sports have been knocked out of the Gordon Brasted Memorial Trophy by Stansted and Manning wants his side to bounce back.
The Hullbridge boss said: “It’s a huge game for us.
“I had one eye on that game when we played Stansted in midweek because I know that Sporting Bengal are a very good attacking side.
“They will be coming to us full of confidence and, with us being top of the league, you are there to be shot at.
“Teams seeing us as a real threat has become the norm now, in all honesty.”
