ADAM Peek hopes Southend Manor will bounce back from their Peter Butcher Memorial Trophy exit when they welcome St Margaretsbury to Southchurch Park tomorrow.
Manor, who went head-to-head with Aveley in a friendly in midweek, lost 5-1 to Barkingside Reserves.
And Peek is looking forward to returning to Essex Senior League action.
The Manor boss said: “We had a good end to 2018 and won three of our last four league games.
“We have been on a steady run but availability and commitment has cost us, especially last week.
“Hopefully we will return to our good form this weekend, but we know it won’t be easy.
“We played at St Margaretsbury earlier in the season and drew 1-1.
“It was a very competitive game and they are a good outfit.”
