SOUTHEND Manor will be looking to overcome one of their ‘bogey teams’ this weekend.
Manor, who are 17th in the Essex Senior League standings, make the trip to 12th-placed West Essex tomorrow.
And Manor boss Adam Peek believes a similar performance to that in the narrow midweek defeat to Takeley will ensure a positive result.
Peek said: “West Essex are one of our bogey teams.
“They are well organised and experienced, so we’re expecting a tough game.
“If we produce the same sort of performance as we did in the second half at Takeley for the full 90 minutes then there’s definitely the chance to pick up a positive result this weekend.”
