SOUTHEND United manager Chris Powell felt his side should have taken all three points at Accrington Stanley this afternoon.
The Shrimpers were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw when Dan Barlaser cancelled out Stephen Humphrys' opener.
But Powell thought it was a missed opportunity for Blues.
"We should have had three points," said Powell.
"We had the better of the chances and took the lead with a brave goal from Stephen Humphrys.
"We had the opportunities but you have to take them when you come to Accrington.
"Not too many visiting teams come here and get points but we look at this as a missed opportunity.
"It’s all about confidence and composure in front of goal."
