HULLBRIDGE Sports go into tomorrow's clash at Ilford knowing that three points and second-placed Stansted slipping up would be enough to be crowned Essex Senior League champions.

Sports are currently two points clear at the division's summit with just two fixtures remaining.

Stansted will need to pick up a positive result at Redbridge to stay in contention for the title, but Hullbridge boss Darren Manning is solely focused on his side.

Manning said: "It’s business as usual for us.

"We know what we need to do and how to achieve it, we just need to put that into action now.

"Ilford are a very good side and I know their manager well.

"He will be preparing his side well and we need to be ready to face the best possible Ilford side."

Meanwhile, Southend Manor could climb up to as high as 13th place in the standings with three points at Saffron Walden Town.

Manor are currently 16th, while Saffron Walden Town find themselves in fourth.

And Manor chief Adam Peek is eager to see his side record a fifth victory on the bounce.

Peek said: "They have nothing to play for so they could look at the game as a chance to express themselves and play with freedom or they could go through the motions.

"I think they have scored over 100 goals this season, but we will just focus on what we do.

"Confidence is high and the squad is as consistent as we have been all season.

"We will need to be at our best if we want to win, but we're on a great run of form and we want to finish the season on a high."
