SOUTHEND United will be roared on by more than 900 fans in tomorrow’s crunch clash at Rochdale.

Shrimpers supporters have filled nine coaches for the long trip north after chairman Ron Martin offered free travel to Spotland.

And Blues boss Kevin Bond is keen to give the travelling fans plenty to cheer.

“The supporters have been fantastic and it’s great we will have so many making the trip again on Saturday,” said Bond.

“We will need them right behind us again and hopefully together we can get the result we want.”

The Shrimpers head into Saturday’s clash sitting 19th in the League One standings, just one point above the relegation zone with two games left to play this season.
