SAINTS fans will have fond memories of walking up to Knowsley Road in those years before the club's departure at the end of 2010.
Here is a flashback to the old ground on a misty match day around 1975-77.
Still visible is the old railway cutting that ran behind the back of the main stand.
It began to be filled in around 1977-8 and was eventually converted into car parking in the latter years.
Before that kids spent hours looking for newts and frogs nesting in the stretch from there down to Boundary Road.
