SHOULD Canvey Island overcome St Ives Town in tomorrow's replay, Bowers & Pitsea will make the short trip to Park Lane for a local derby in the third qualifying round of the FA Cup.

The draw for the next stage of the world-renowned competition took place this afternoon.

And Bowers will have to wait before discovering who they will take on.

Rob Small's side came from behind to record a 2-1 victory at Lewes and seal their second win at the Dripping Pan this season.

Second half strikes from James Thomas and Brad Warner allowed Bowers to cancel out Kayne Diedrick-Roberts' spot-kick.

And they will face the winners of the tie involving Mark Bentley's Canvey and St Ives.

The clash ended goalless and the Gulls failed to capitalise on Jarvis Wilson's first half dismissal for a poor challenge on midfielder Albert Levett.

Meanwhile, Billericay Town have been handed a tricky home clash with National League South rivals Bath City.

Town, who are now managed by Jamie O'Hara following Harry Wheeler's sacking last week, booked their place in the third qualifying round with a narrow 1-0 win over neighbours Basildon United thanks to Jordan Parkes' free-kick finding the back of the net.

Wheeler's final match in charge proved to be the last time Bath, who beat Swindon Supermarine 4-0 in the last round, visited the Steel Team Stadium.

That encounter ended all square, with Sam Deering on target in a 1-1 draw.

The third qualifying round ties will take place on October 5.
