BOWERS & Pitsea chief Rob Small was impressed with how Callum Coulter performed just a matter of hours after meeting his team-mates for the first time.
Coulter made his Bowers debut, following a loan switch from Colchester United, in the 2-1 defeat to Bognor Regis Town in midweek.
And the 19-year-old goalkeeper's performance pleased Small.
“Callum is an under-21 goalkeeper at Colchester who played for England Schoolboys and has been playing in Colchester’s under-23 team,” said Small.
“I thought the young boy did really well and it was an impressive performance from a lad who only met his team-mates hours earlier.
“He has joined us on a work experience loan which is initially for a month.”
