ROTHERHAM United manager Paul Warne felt Blues' Brandon Goodship should have been sent off in Saturday's 2-2 draw at Roots Hall.
Goodshipw was yellow carded by referee Charles Breakspear after bringing down Matthew Olosunde 10 minutes from time.
But Warne thought Goodshop should have been dismissed.
"I understand that if an opponent breaks and you trip them or pull their shirt it's a yellow card but that foul was worse than that," Warne told the Rotherham Advertiser.
"It looked a straight-leg, absolute-chaos tackle. You can see that by the way everyone reacts. I thought it was a stinker."
Millers skipper Michael Ihiekwe was also yellow carded after reacting angrily to the challenge.
And that also frustrated Warne.
"The sad reality is that my captain gets the same punishment for moaning to the ref about the challenge as the player who's done it," said Warne.
"At the time, and I was quite close to it, I thought it was poor."
