SOUTHEND Manor will be looking to get 2020 off to a perfect start when they do battle with St Margaretsbury at Southchurch Park tomorrow.
Manor brought the curtain down on 2019 by suffering a 3-0 defeat to Enfield in the Peter Butcher Memorial Trophy.
But Craig Waters’ side will turn their attentions back to their Essex Senior League campaign this weekend, with 11th-placed St Margaretsbury visiting.
Manor - who are second from bottom in the standings - have seen promising goalkeeper Joshua Blackburn depart this week.
Blackburn’s final appearance for Manor came in the defeat to Enfield last weekend.
