KIT Elliott has extended his loan spell with Concord Rangers by another month.
Elliott has impressed since making the temporary switch from Championship side Huddersfield Town, who are managed by former Beach Boys boss Danny Cowley.
And Concord chief Danny Scopes admits the extension of striker Elliott’s deal has come as a major boost ahead of facing National League South rivals Bath City in the second round of the FA Trophy this weekend.
“I’m really pleased that we have kept Kit and I want to thank Danny Cowley and Huddersfield for allowing that to happen,” said Scopes.
“The logistics - with Huddersfield being so far away - are a little bit difficult at times but we have sorted something out that worked for all parties.
“It took Kit a bit of time to find his feet, but another month will help his development.
“We might get a little bit more out of him in the weeks to come, which is a big positive.
“Kit has done well so far and hopefully he can continue in the same vein.”
