BOTH Billericay Town and Concord Rangers bounced back from defeats to win 4-1 in their midweek fixtures, against Hemel Hempstead and Dulwich Hamlet respectively, reports Leon Imber.

It was Town’s first win of the season, and Jake Robinson can take most of the credit netting an impressive hat-trick.

Shamir Fenelon was also on target.

The performance was miles better than any of their others this season and so there is plenty to build upon for Jamie O’Hara and his side.

Danny Scopes will be a very happy man as his men reacted perfectly to their previous 6-0 defeat against Maidstone United.

Jason Raad, Alex Wall, Temi Babalola and Charlee Hughes were all on the scoresheet for Rangers.

The results lift Billericay out of the relegation zone to 16th, while Concord are two places higher at 14th. A point separates the two sides.

Isthmian Premier Division clubs were offered postponements for their midweek fixtures due to the latest lockdown restrictions.

Bowers and Pitsea and East Thurrock United both had those options taken up and so their next matches will be in over a month’s time.
