SOUTHEND United manager Mark Molesley has hinted the Shrimpers will soon be out of their transfer embargo.
The Blues boss cannot call upon left-back Sam Hart and striker Simeon Akinola until the current restrictions are lifted.
But, although the duo will again be missing at Bolton Wanderers on Saturday, Molesley is confident of them soon being able to play.
"They’re not available as far as I know, not just yet but I think we’re very close and that’s going to be two big improvements for us," said Molesley.
"We’re not far away and the squad will hopefully start to look far stronger in the coming weeks."
