BILLERICAY Town face off against Oxford City tonight at the New Lodge, reports Leon Imber.

The home side go into this National League South fixture off the back of a poor run of form, earning just one win from their last five league matches.

Town, who will again be managed by interim boss Dan Brown, must pick themselves back up after a disappointing Essex Derby defeat against Concord Rangers if they are to propel themselves away from the relegation zone, of which they are currently four points above.

Oxford currently occupy the ninth spot in the league standings but have not played for two weeks.

City sit sixth in the form table and so will prove to be a tough test for Brown’s struggling side.
