MARK Billings has come out of retirement for Rochford Hundred.

Billings will start at fly-half for an injury hit Hundred at Oundle this weekend.

And head coach Danny Cleare will also be handing a debut to winger Alfie Justice.

“Unfortunately the time we’ve had off hasn’t magically healed all of our injuries but I believe going into this game we’ll probably have Josh Cavey, Jake Spivey, and Harry PK back,” said Cleare.

“Craig Strachan isn’t too far away, and it has been nice to have Mark Ikhifa and Sam Cappeart back training but unfortunately they are not quite ready for any minutes this week.

“There will be a season debut for old boy Mark Billings though who has had to step out of retirement to help out during this tricky time, and a debut to Alfie Justice who will start on the wing.”

Rochford go into the game sitting second from bottom in the Regional One South East standings.

And Cleare is expecting a stern test against their fourth placed hosts.

“Oundle are having a really strong season so far and seem to be a team that sits behind a very strong pack,” said Cleare.

“They were unlucky not to beat Colchester away in their last game so they must be dangerous.

“I am expecting a tough abrasive team which we’ll have to match if we want to get anything from this game.”

Elsewhere bottom of the table Westcliff head to third placed Sudbury.

Westcliff are currently two points behind Rochford.
