ROCHFORD Hundred and Westcliff both suffered defeats in Regional One South East on Saturday.
Bottom of the table Westcliff lost 35-6 at Oundle while second from bottom Rochford lost 45-34 at home to Harpenden.
Rochford are now 12 points from safety with Westcliff a further six points behind.
In Regional Two Anglia, Southend Saxons made it 16 wins in a row after a 35-25 win at Chelmsford.
Southend sit six points clear of second placed Eton Manor who they host in their next outing.
In Counties Two Essex (South), third placed Billericay won 40-12 at Barking, table-topping Basildon triumphed 30-3 at Millwall and fifth placed Canvey Island won 14-12 at Old Brentwoods who are second.
