SOUTHEND Saxons moved another step nearer the Regional Two Anglia title with a 17-10 win at second placed Harlow on Saturday.
The victory, which was Southend’s 18th in a row, moved them 10 points clear at the top of the table with just three games to go.
In Regional One South East, bottom of the table Westcliff lost 32-21 at home to ninth placed Hertford and can now not avoid relegation this season.
Second from bottom Rochford Hundred were beaten 66-7 by table-topping Colchester at Magnolia Road and are now 14 points from safety with three games to go.
