EIGHT local clubs will provide youngsters for the Adventure Island Under-11 Kwik Cricket Tournament.
The competition will run at lunch-time during the first three days of Essex’s LV County Championship clash with Glamorgan at Garon Park.
Hadleigh will take on Eastwood and Rayleigh will face Ekco Monarchs on Wednesday, July 30.
The following day, July 31, Southend will take on Leigh, with Old Southendians facing Benfleet.
All early round matches will be held at around 12.30pm.
The semi-finals will be held on Friday, August 1, with the final taking place during Sunday’s NatWest Pro40 fixture against Northants Steelbacks.
