Canvey Island had three trialists in their line-up last night as they drew 1-1 at home to Blue Square South Braintree.
Ian Luck, who hit the bar late on, put the Ryman Premier hosts in front after 41 minutes, with Bradley Quinton equalising on 72 minutes from the penalty spot.
Ex-Southend, Thurrock and Aldershot midfielder David Lee, former Billericay and Canvey defender Chris Moore and last season's Arlesey Town skipper Ryan Oliver were the three trialists, who all performed well.
