THE GO 9 Pool Hall has now opened in Billericay.
The new venue boasts four professional American nine-ball tables and world championship English eight-ball tables as well as five large plasma screens.
And they also offer professional coaching to players who are looking to improve their game.
Proprietor Brian Ash worked with manager Darren Saxby to set the club and is already delighted by the response.
“We’re both very pleased with the new business,” said Ash. “We feel that it will go from strength to strength.
“Darren has many contacts in this field, having just qualified in the GB9 Professional 9-Ball Tour and he also plays on the European Tour.”
The pool hall, which is above the Forge Public House, was opened by pool stars Tony Drago and Imran Majid who are both currently in the top 10 on the European Tour.
They played anybody willing to take them on and raised more than £500 for the Homeless at Christmas charity.
