CROWD favourite Lee Hodges, the former Southend United and West Ham winger, is coming back to Billericay Town.

Hodges, who left New Lodge to join fellow Ryman Premier side Hornchurch in the summer, returns as a player and a post as assistant manager.

His last club was Division One North promotion challengers East Thurrock United.

Midfielder Steven Ferguson, a summer arrival from AFC Wimbledon, has been released and is expected to join Tonbridge Angels And wide man cum striker Bradley Woods-Garness has been made available for loan or transfer and is unlikely to be included in the squad for tomorrow's visit to relegation-threatened Harlow.

Billericay have announced that they expect more changes on the playing side and the shake-up, predicted by joint manager Grant Gordon in Friday's Echo, follows the club's 4-2 home defeat by Canvey on Tuesday.
